TryRap Service Terms

Rules for trying TryRap music tools, managing subscriptions, and using generated or transformed content

Effective September 13, 2026

These Service Terms ("Terms") apply when you visit tryrap.com, register an account, or use a TryRap music or audio feature. Together, those websites, accounts, and features are the "Service."

Using the Service means you agree to these Terms. When you use TryRap for an organization, you represent that you can accept the Terms for it. If you cannot agree, do not continue.

1. What you can try

TryRap may let you create complete songs, instrumentals, lyrics, covers, or song continuations. Other tools may split stems, separate vocals and backing music, estimate tempo and key, or convert suitable audio into MIDI.

Each attempt follows the controls, availability, model, format, and plan limits displayed in that tool. Features can be introduced, revised, paused, or retired as the Service evolves.

2. Your account

Use accurate registration details, keep them current, and protect your credentials. Activity under the account is your responsibility unless applicable law says otherwise.

Do not share credentials without permission, register as someone else, enter an account you are not authorized to use, or multiply accounts to avoid a rate limit, credit requirement, payment, suspension, or other restriction. Report suspected unauthorized access to support@tryrap.com.

3. What every attempt records

When an artifact is created, TryRap records the plan tier and monthly or annual billing cadence that applies to it. That record determines privacy, retention, download access, attribution, ownership, and commercial eligibility. A later plan change affects new attempts only.

Free allowances and paid credits are units for using Service features. They are not currency and cannot be redeemed for cash. Unused paid credits expire at the end of the applicable grant window unless the product expressly states a different rule. Credits reserved for a confirmed failed job may be restored.

4. Choosing a plan

The current Pricing page lists plan charges, credit grants, models, downloads, privacy, storage, and tool access.

  • Free attempts are public, carry limited retention, require attribution when shared, and are available only for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Monthly Starter, Plus, and Pro attempts may add private processing, downloads, storage, models, and paid tools, but remain personal and non-commercial and require attribution when shared.
  • Annual Starter, Plus, and Pro attempts can qualify for the ownership and commercial rights described in the TryRap Generated Content License, provided the content is generated while the annual term is active.

Neither a download button nor private visibility changes the license attached to an attempt.

5. Paying, renewing, and canceling

Stripe handles payment. A subscription is charged in advance at the monthly or annual amount shown at checkout, plus applicable tax, and renews at the same cadence until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize those recurring charges.

Cancel from the Stripe billing portal linked in account settings before the next renewal. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect after the current paid period and does not itself refund the current charge. Refund eligibility is addressed separately in the Purchase and Refund Policy.

TryRap does not store complete payment-card information. If annual billing is selected, the annual price is charged on the annual schedule even though credits may be delivered through monthly grant windows.

6. What you bring

Prompts, lyrics, recordings, names, and other sources you provide remain yours to the extent you already hold rights in them. You give TryRap a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, host, copy, transmit, process, technically adapt, and store that material as needed to operate and protect the Service.

You are responsible for permission to use each source. TryRap cannot give you copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, voice, or other rights belonging to another person.

7. What the model returns

The TryRap Generated Content License states the contractual grant for Free, monthly, and qualifying annual content.

Models produce variable results. An output may contain errors or resemble existing material. We do not guarantee originality, uniqueness, copyright protection, accurate notes or analysis, clean separation, non-infringement, or fitness for release. Listen, edit, investigate possible conflicts, and secure any permission needed for the way you intend to use it.

8. Public attempts

Free songs may be visible through a discovery feature. Anyone who can access a public attempt may copy or redistribute it. Do not place confidential, sensitive, or private information into a public prompt or source.

Publishing an attempt does not override its attribution or non-commercial restrictions.

9. Keep experiments safe and fair

You must not use TryRap to:

  • violate law, commit fraud, or support criminal activity;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, voice, or other rights;
  • threaten, harass, defame, deceive, impersonate, or harm another person;
  • transform a recording or other source without authorization;
  • gain unauthorized access or probe, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service;
  • bypass account, safety, billing, credit, rate, or technical controls;
  • resell access, falsify an artifact's origin, or misstate its plan entitlement;
  • monetize or commercially distribute Free or monthly content; or
  • train or build a competing AI system with the Service or its outputs.

10. Saved work and availability

The selected tool and creation-time plan determine how long a source or result is retained. Free files and uploaded sources may expire. An eligible paid artifact may carry permanent storage as a product entitlement, but you should still download and back up anything you cannot afford to lose.

Updates, maintenance, provider problems, abuse response, or events beyond reasonable control can make the Service temporarily unavailable. TryRap does not promise uninterrupted access or recovery of every file.

11. Providers and external services

Payment, hosting, storage, sign-in, communications, analytics, security, generation, and audio processing may be supplied by third parties. Their products and linked websites can have separate terms. TryRap is not responsible for an external service outside our control.

12. TryRap's platform

TryRap and its licensors own the Service platform, software, interfaces, visual design, graphics, documentation, logos, and branding. Your right to use a generated artifact does not grant a right to copy the platform or use TryRap trademarks as your own.

13. When access ends

We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, infringement, danger to users or systems, or significant legal or security risk. You can stop using TryRap whenever you choose and can cancel renewal as described above.

Ending an account does not retroactively change the license properly attached to an existing artifact. Terms that by their nature address continuing rights, payment, liability, or disputes survive.

14. Service disclaimer

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TRYRAP AND ITS OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT TRYRAP WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR PROJECT.

Mandatory rights and warranties that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

15. Liability limit

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TRYRAP IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES CONNECTED WITH THE SERVICE OR AN OUTPUT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF TRYRAP FOR CLAIMS CONNECTED WITH THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID TO TRYRAP IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT CREATED THE CLAIM. Any restriction that applicable law does not allow is limited only as far as that law permits.

16. Claims resulting from your use

Where law permits, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold TryRap harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses caused by material you submit, your misuse, your breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or commercial exploitation without the necessary plan entitlement.

17. Updates and the complete agreement

We may post revised Terms with a new effective date. Additional notice may be provided for a material change. Continuing to use the Service after the new Terms take effect means you accept the revision.

These Terms, the Privacy Notice, Purchase and Refund Policy, and TryRap Generated Content License are the complete Service agreement. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Not enforcing a provision once does not waive it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; TryRap may transfer it in connection with a financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service.
