Privacy Notice for TryRap

A plain-language guide to the account, creative, payment, and usage information handled by TryRap

Effective: September 13, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains what happens to personal information when you explore tryrap.com, make an account, try a music tool, subscribe, or ask for help. “TryRap,” “we,” “our,” and “us” mean the operator of the TryRap service.

The short version

  • We use account and creative-input data to provide the attempt you request.
  • Stripe handles card payments; TryRap does not keep complete card numbers.
  • A Free song can be public, so Free workflows should not contain confidential material.
  • Providers help us host, secure, analyze, bill, and process requests.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Privacy requests can be sent to support@tryrap.com.

The details below form the full notice.

1. Data you choose to provide

When you create an account or contact us

We may receive an email address, display name, account and authentication identifiers, your support message, and any details you voluntarily include.

When you try a creative tool

The information required by the selected tool can include a prompt, lyric draft, song title, style choice, generation setting, uploaded recording, or public audio URL. We also process the resulting song, lyric, cover, extension, stem, vocal, instrumental, MIDI, tempo, or key artifact and its associated metadata.

Please submit only material you are permitted to use. Avoid personal, confidential, or sensitive information—especially in a generation that the interface identifies as public.

2. Data created while TryRap is used

Our systems may record IP address, browser and device characteristics, request time, referring route, pages or features used, diagnostic data, rate-limit activity, and security events. Cookies and comparable browser storage support sign-in, preferences, security, and service measurement.

An artifact record may include the tool and model selected, creation time, format, visibility, storage status, and plan entitlement that applied when the request began.

3. Subscription information

Stripe processes checkout and recurring charges. TryRap may receive your plan, subscription state, transaction status, invoice or receipt identifier, and limited billing metadata needed to administer the account. We do not receive or store your full card number or sensitive payment-authentication credential.

4. What we do with this information

We process information to:

  1. sign users in and deliver the requested generation, transformation, or analysis;
  2. show saved attempts, eligible downloads, usage allowances, and plan status;
  3. administer subscriptions, credits, cancellations, refund reviews, and eligible commercial-license records;
  4. reply to product, account, and billing questions;
  5. identify faults and understand how TryRap features perform;
  6. prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and limit evasion; and
  7. comply with law and protect or enforce legal rights.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely as appropriate on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and product operation, or consent. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing where it is the applicable basis.

5. Who can receive data

We disclose information only as appropriate for the relevant task:

  • infrastructure, hosting, storage, communications, analytics, and security vendors;
  • AI-generation and audio-processing vendors used for the attempt you initiate;
  • Stripe and payment-support partners;
  • professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or courts where a lawful request or protection of rights requires it; and
  • prospective or completed participants in a financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer involving TryRap.

If you make an attempt public, visitors can access it and may copy or redistribute it beyond our control. A link to another website does not make TryRap responsible for that site's privacy practices.

6. How long records remain

Different records serve different purposes. We use these criteria to decide retention:

  • account records remain while needed to provide and secure the account;
  • transaction and compliance records remain as required for accounting, fraud review, disputes, and law;
  • support records remain while needed to resolve and document the request; and
  • sources and generated artifacts follow the tool and plan rules displayed when the attempt is created.

Free songs normally have limited product retention. Eligible paid attempts may receive permanent product storage. “Permanent” describes the plan entitlement rather than a promise that an online copy can never be interrupted or lost. Keep an independent copy of anything important.

Deletion may take time to move through backups. We may retain a limited record where law, security, fraud prevention, or a live dispute requires it.

7. Your controls and rights

Browser settings can remove or block cookies, but required storage may be necessary for sign-in and other features.

Depending on applicable law and our reason for processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also be able to withdraw consent and complain to the appropriate privacy regulator.

To exercise a right, email support@tryrap.com. We may verify your identity and ask for enough detail to locate the information. A request can be limited where another person's rights or a legal retention duty applies.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards. No internet or storage system is completely secure, and TryRap cannot promise absolute protection.

TryRap and its vendors may process data in the United States and other locations whose rules differ from those where you live. We use a legally recognized transfer mechanism when one is required.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this notice to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. The effective date identifies the active version, and additional notice may be provided for a material change where required.

Questions about privacy or this notice should be sent to support@tryrap.com.
