TryRap Purchase and Refund Policy

How TryRap evaluates timely refund requests, billing mistakes, cancellations, and failed attempts

Updated: September 13, 2026

Use this page to distinguish four different situations: requesting a refund, reporting a billing mistake, canceling the next renewal, and receiving credits back for a failed attempt.

Before requesting a standard refund

A subscription purchase can be considered under the TryRap standard refund policy when:

  • we receive the request no later than 24 hours after purchase; and
  • the account has completed fewer than five song generations since that purchase.

Both conditions are required. If either condition is missed, the purchase is outside our standard eligibility rules unless the law that applies to the transaction requires otherwise.

Send the request

Write to support@tryrap.com from the email used for the TryRap account. Tell us:

  1. the account email;
  2. which plan was purchased and when;
  3. why you are requesting review; and
  4. the Stripe invoice or receipt identifier, if available.

Do not include a complete payment-card number, account password, or one-time authentication code. The time at which TryRap receives the email determines whether the 24-hour condition is met.

What happens during review

We check the payment and the number of completed songs recorded after it. The decision is sent by email. If a refund is approved, it goes back to the original payment method. Stripe, the card network, and your financial institution control the time required for it to appear.

An approved refund does not grant new rights in an artifact. The plan recorded when content was generated still determines the applicable license.

If the charge looks wrong

A possible duplicate, unauthorized charge, or billing error should be reported promptly with the related receipt or invoice. TryRap reviews a verifiable billing mistake separately from the completed-song eligibility test and may ask for additional transaction details.

If an attempt technically fails

A job that reaches a confirmed failed state after credits were reserved may return those product credits to the TryRap balance. Restored credits are not cash, are not a refund of a subscription, and do not reset the refund clock.

Creative variation is not a confirmed service failure. A completed output that is not the take you hoped for remains a completed AI result.

If you only want to stop renewal

Open the Stripe billing portal from account settings and cancel the subscription there. Cancellation normally preserves access through the current paid period and prevents the following renewal. It does not, by itself, reverse the current payment.

Rights that apply by law

Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights. People in the EU, EEA, UK, or another protected jurisdiction may have a statutory withdrawal or refund right. For immediately supplied digital services or content, that right may be limited after the consumer agrees to performance beginning—for example, by starting a generation, using a paid feature, or downloading an artifact.
